FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

Do I need to be a member? No, we are a public shooting range.  $17 per person.  We also have a yearly pass available for $250 per person.  Please call us with any questions 386-263-2591

 

Is there any family or group discounts?  Prices are all per individual.

 

When is the Range open? Tuesday thru Saturday 8am to 5:30pm, and Sunday 10am-5:30pm, Monday ALWAYS Closed

 

Do I need to make an appointment? No appointments required (first come first serve)

 

Can you shoot from the seated position on pistol?  Only on select lanes.  Our facility is set up for safe shooting while standing.  Only limited lanes we will allow sitting to prevent damages/bullet angles from hitting our baffles

 

Can I flip buckets over to use as a chair?  No buckets are for empty shells only.

 

Do you have a shot gun range?  No shot guns are allowed.  This includes pistols that shoot 410 gauge

 

What can be shot on the pistol range?  Most pistol calibers under 2000 fps are allowed

 

Can I shoot my rifle on the pistol range?  Pistol caliber rifles are allowed on the pistol range (22LR 9mm)

 

Is the rifle range open?  Currently 6 rifle lanes are available to the public.  50yd paper targets only.  First come first serve.  100yds is open to YEARLY pass holders only currently

 

Can I shoot rapid fire on the rifle range?  No.  Rifle lanes are for seated aimed fire only

 

Do you rent/sell firearms? No, we do not rent or sell firearms.  You must have your own equipment

 

Can I bring my own equipment?  Yes.  We do sell targets, foam ear plugs, safety glasses, limited ammo (22 LR - 9mm) in case you forget or need something

 

When is the kitchen open?  The kitchen is currently open Friday 8am - 3pm and Saturday 8am-3pm (Brisket Weekend is the first weekend of the month) 

 

Is there space for meetings/events? We do have a function room available for events, meetings, clubs, parties etc

 

Are there any local ammo stores? Pioneer Guns & Ammo and Southeastern Sports

 

Do you offer a concealed carry class?  Please reach out to www.shelbysafetraining.com for training.  We do not offer it through Bunnell Range

Things to bring:  Case for your weapon, ammo, ear/eye protection, extra batteries if your earmuffs require batteries, sharpie/pen for marking your target and a STAPLE gun to attach your target.  If you are shooting a rifle caliber, remember to bring a rifle rest and spotting scope if needed
